ok so im on a steep hill popping a k turn so i can park the other way. when my car is facing almost perpendicular with the street and give it a little gas the pedal loses tension and the car accelerates as if i got the pedal to the floor. my cat like reflexes throws the car on neutral and quickly stomps on the brakes but the rpms is all the way up and runnin. i ended up parking her car while riding the brake. every time i turn the car on the accelertion goes up on its own. what could this be? somebody help.

thats what i think. look at the throttle where the cable attaches. there is a special round spring wrapped around the little bellcrank. if its broken, the bellcrank will move freely and not return to "idle".

prolly somethin w/ the throttle cable. when i installed my intake, one of the attachment rings got caught in the throttle cable and my car did the same thing.
