i have a dial up(ok laugh it up)well i go to sign on tonight and the pw is invalid??..so i reset the computer....and bing bam boom..same thing??i call up aol and inquire about the problem./they tell me that somehow my screenname was reported a week ago on a im as one of those pop up things that takes you to a porn site or something likr that!!..i was like wtf????well i just had to change pw and hope that it doesnt happen again

Honestly, on AOL, you should change your password often. Usually dumb kids thinking that they're "1337 h4xx0rz" think that it's cool to get "free" AOL by messing with other people's accounts. It sucks.

i think its AOL that does that shit. this is my little consiparacy theory. when i used to have AOL same thing happened to me. i called them and said well you probly logged on at somebody elses house, you had someone over, you gave someone your password, etc... well after they gave me my new temporary password they tried selling me some stuff!!! thats how they get you!!! they make you call them to try and sell you some stuff!!! **** AOL.

I miss 3.0. Before AOL knew what "security" meant. Anyone ever use the Master Tools? These were the one's where you could query AOL's customer dBase and pull account and billing info? :D

Not....that....I....ever....did....anything....like....that...:angel1:
