So the header i bought from amazon dna motoring came today and im excited and worried. Right now i have no sec cat no resonator and an amazon n1 muffler. I love the way it sounds .its not overly raspy when i had no muffler. Here is how it sounds with no sec cat, no res, and n1 muffler.vid 1 https://youtu.be/S_eQdqhKIeI . vid 2 https://youtu.be/s5prk3UEyKI
When i ran no muff no res and not cat it sounded terrible https://youtu.be/8OqP0VRr-lo
Way too much rasp
Im worried that when i install this catless header that rasp will come back.
So i just want to know if the header will make it sound worse or stay the same. I really dont want to end up buying a resonator and making it quieter than how it is now

The N1 muffler should have way more impact on the sound than the presence, or lack of, a precat up front. Cannot say it will be the same, but will not change dramatically IMHO.

I got the same header to replace the dreadful preCAT before it blows up the motor. After install, it was a noticeable increase in cabin noise but my exhaust system is completely stock. The exhaust noise itself I do not believe changed to entirely much just more cabin noises as you accelerate above about 50% load. I did have some fitment issue connecting to the stock exhaust I had to cut slit in the lower bracket they welded on to fit the bolt. Also one head nut to the block was obstructed by one of the welds so it wasn’t 100% flush with the header but I don’t think it will affect it. So far no leaks but happy with it considering how cheap it was.
