I have been searching these forums and YouTube for days and can't find the info I need. I am sure this has been discussed ad nauseam, but here goes: I am trying to adjust the low beams on my 2002 Altima. I found the adjustment for the high beams, but I can't figure out how to adjust the low beams. I have searched the forums and seen lots of talk about doing this, but I need a picture or a drawing or something of whatever it is that I am looking for. I'm just not having any luck, and my driver side low beam is aimed at the tree tops :-(

Thanks for any helpful advice.

Best Answer: On the back vertical side of the headlamp assemblys are two adjusters (one per light) that look like silver bottle caps you use a long #2 philips screwdriver inserted between the low and high beam bulb covers to turn those bottle cap gears. Those adjusters are at the center bottom on the lamp housing and should turn easily. Just find a flat parking spot measure up to the middle of the head light and width mark the wall width and height with masking tape spots. Sight down the fenders and thru the back of the car parked 15 to 20 feet away from the wall. Adjust down to where you like might take a couple nights to get exactly what you want. I just wonder why the aimimg points would have changed. Good Luck

O.K., then I don't get it. I found that adjustment screw. It adjusts the high beam light. It doesn't adjust the low beam light. What am I doing wrong?

this is what I found and adjusted the high beams with.. There isn't an adjustment knob for the low beams in any of these forums or pictures (that I can see). The high beams are perfect. It's the low beams that are waaaay off...

can't find anything that fits this description. That's why I was asking for a picture or diagram.
