Hello guys, I thought I would consult you first befiore I went to the shop. After redlining(not hitting the rev limiter but coming close) from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd there is a very high pitch squeal that comes from the car b/t gear changes. It sounds like exhaust but im not sure. It almost sounds like a blown turbo. This only happens also when it is warm out. Id say around 60f and up. It use to do it a bit during the fall but as soon as the temperature went down the noise went away. Any ideas?? THANKS;)

get your transmission checked out.. check your fluid also.. It sounds like it's a metal on metal squeal, or some kind of contaminant could have gotten in your fluid. If so, that may be what's causing your stuff to squeal. ... So somewhere along the line.. Torque converter, pressure plate, clutch... the list goes on.
