MFR specs don't tell you everything.. if that is a Pyramid then No it is only going to put out about 1/3 the rated power, but if it is Rockford or Kicker it will be slightly under rated.... what brand is it?

whats up man!

the amp is a Logic Soundlab LSL-2680

but I do have a kenwood amp, but Im hoping the logic one is good cause it as more power, well i think it does, this is the kenwood amp i have too

Kenwwood KAC-819:

230 watts x 1 at 2 ohms
requires 10-gauge power and ground leads — wiring and hardware not included with amplifier
frequency response: 5-200 Hz
50-200 Hz low-pass crossover, 18 dB/octave
infrasonic filter (off/15/ 25 Hz), 18 dB/octave
bass boost (off/6/12 dB)
Sigma Servo dramatically increases amp's control over subwoofer
MOSFET power switching supply
speaker-level inputs
signal-to-noise ratio 100 dB
dimensions: 10"W x 2-5/16"H x 12-5/8"

I actually like the way the SONY XPLODE sounded with the shiva, but its cutting off power all the time. i now have a JBL, its ok. i think it could have been better..or maybe i needed to parallel connect the wires so i get a 4OHM load..and bridge the amp so i can a 4 ohn..which is 300w. 600w at 2 ohn on the JBL 600.1
