I want to polish my valve cover...I have done a search already and found nothing. Can someone please give me some good advice to how to. Pleace only respond if you have done this.

Easiest way is the get a bench grinder with a polishing wheel and polishing compound. I personally haven't done the one on my car, but have watched it get done for the cover on a Datsun and a Supra.

I had mine done at a local metal finishing shop.It cost $80 and came out really nice.

I called the local rebuilt and used parts...aka junkyard and they said they have one for 25 bucks...sounds like a deal to me. That way I can do the job at my own desire.
