I went to a local carwash to remove some dried up bird poop stains on the windshield. Pressure wash couldn't remove them so the attendant used a razor blade in a very vigorous/careless way. When my car emerged, there was still some bits left and another attendant make even more careless swipes with two hands on blade.

This led to a bunch of fairly deep scratches about 3-5 inches in the pattern he was using to remove poop.

When I drive at night light hitting the scratches causes them to kind of glow and is distracting.

Is there anyway to minimize this effect?

And on another note, is there any way to get compensation for their carelessness? They have a sign absolving them of antenna breakage etc. but none stating razor blade damage. Thanks.
