^ What he said, the stock intake is soo restrictive, a new one will feel very good and rev much faster.

2.5 Power

My 2.5 S Has the following:

AEM Cold Air Intake with Bypass Valve
Unorthodox Racing Underdrive Pulley
Stillen 2nd Generation Headers with the 02 Intercept Box

My car dynoed on a warm day right out of driving through traffic at
147.8 Hp and 158.4 Torque at the Wheels:

I redynoed the car yesterday really early in the morning just right after the motor reached its operating temp, to get the highest HP/TQ rating just like how some performance parts manufacturers get their miracle ratings.
I got the following readings:
168.2 HP/ 170 Torque
Pretty Darn Impressive!!! But wait. I drove the car around for about 20 miles and came back and dynoed it again, this time with the engine hot. The reults are:
152.1 Hp and 160.4 Torque.
I guess I should be happy since this is only a four banger.

As far as the Header I would recommend the Stillen (2nd Generation) with the intercept box. There is no 02 relocation necessary. You utilize both 02 Sensors. However there is an intercept box which splices between the o2 Sensor and ECU to prevent a SERVICE ENGINE SOON Light from tripping. Again as far as the gains, $TILLEN claims a 15 HP gain with 6 FT/LBS of Torque.
HOTSHOT Header on the other hand requires an 02 Sensor relocation behind the second Cat and uses the factory downpipe. It claims to gain about 10 HP.:angel1: :angry4: :p :D :embarasse :angry4:

I agree, the Hotshot headers have a lot of work that have gone in them. Their gain is posted on their WEBSITE at www.hotshot.com

As far as fit, both products are the same. Predominantly however, a lot of Spev V users use Hotshot. I believe the Hotshot is a 4-2-1 Header Design which means lots of torque. The $tillen is 4-1 design, for maximum HP gain at the top end.

The Stillen does require some attention to detail. Their welds look like they came out of a vocational training class from the Philippines. As they say in my lanuage, Ang Pangit!!!

you pinoy? my g/f is pinay. That looked like tagalog but i'm not sure:p

the hotshot header is made to match the holes in the engine block perfectly. the stillen ones look nice too but after all the probs that one of us so cal alty's had w/ the stillen, i'm not gonna get it. Also, the Hotshot headers sound so much nicer. The stillen seem to have a high ticking sound...this is just from my first hand experience with the two. At the Mossy show, months back, there were some Sentra SE-R's that had AEM CAi's and Hotshot headers (maybe a catback too) and they sounded so deep and angry. So Sweet!!! I imagine when i get the header, it'll sound even better w/ the Injen one...that's just cuz i'm biased, lol
