There's another 12V outlet at the bottom of the center console (under the armrest in the DEEP compartment) that stays on.

I was having a problem with that in another post...

I didnt even notice that the power shut off when the key was turned off because I have never had the phone on charge in the daytime

you could always pull the dash and run a wire from the memory wire of the radio to the cig lighter.

Hmmm.. The one in my console turns off with the ignition off, and the one on my dash stays on (I think) with the ignition off. Perhaps my car is wired wrong?
