I'm installing a stillen intake on my 97. My temp sensor is located in the cold air tube that connected to the original airbox. But the K&N filter has a provision for the temp sensor from 95-96 altimas, which I assume is mounted on the side of the airbox. I went to 2 nissan dealers and they had no idea what I was talking about. Anybody out there know the part number, or where I can order one online?

I'm not even sure what you are looking for.

The k&n filter has a hole where the temp sensor should bolt on. The one on my 97 won't fit in there.

So your 97 temp sensor doesn’t fit in the temp sensor holes in the filter?

Nope. Just another one of those difference between 96 and 97. Can somebody out there help me out?

u have the style from 98+ then...how the **** did that happen? anyways can u make the hole bigger?

Yeah thanks man I might try that. But that's kinda wierd. Now I wish I picked up a 96
