Is the infinity kappa 62.1i any good?What about the 62.3i?
Will any of them fit the 1st gens?Found a site that sells
the 62.3i for $99.99. it's www.smilephotovideo.com.
Has anyone ever bought from them?Their price is cheaper
than crutchfield's,the 62.3i sells for $149.99 at crutchfield.

Hey InfinityAltima, how did you get the 5 1/4's up front? I'd like to go all Infinity because my Sony high's are crap compared to the Infinity reference series speakers I had in my last car. Was it difficult to get the speakers to fit into the 5x7" basket (my 94 has 5x7's in the front, so I'm just assuming that yours does as well, though I don't know what year your car is).

its not to hard to fit'em in at all
once u take door and get the factory box off the door u will see how easy it is

BTW, you won't want the Kappa speaker line unless you have an amp. If you only have an aftermarket Head Unit, you'd want to go with the reference line.

I have the infinity 63i in all four corners and they sound amazing! I have them hooked up to an autotek sx480 (60x4) amp. I never really noticed how great they sounded untill took out my subs(damn amp broke!). They are very clear and they play loud!

The Kappas definitely have my vote!! They are very clean speakers for all types of music. Of course though these speakers require some real power. So you'll nead a quality 4-channel amp. I recommend the Alpine MRVF407 or if you can find an inexpensive Phoenix Gold, Rockford Fosgate or even MTX Thunder6304 you should be in business!!!
