I have a problem installing keyless entry in may Nissan Altima 99.
I know that the lock and unlock wires are grey and vieolet but when I try to measure the voltage on them it is some very low voltage it is not 12 volts. Does any body knows about door lock/unlock circuit in Altima 99 (wire colors and voltages it operates with, location in the car).
I will welcome any information.

the wires going to the Actuators from the ECU are as follows:

Front LH (left hand): Green w/ Red stripe.
Front RH: Yellow w/ Black stripe
Rear (both sides): Blue w/Orange stripe.

From the ECU to the door switches, its
F LH: Red/ green stripe
F RH: Red
Rear (both): Red/Black stripe.



these are the listed wires under the keyless entry section.

now under the Power door locks section, you see the purple and grey wires which just lead to the main driver side switch. but again, the above wires I listed are the ones shown in the keyless entry section.


voltage on these are 0 at the open and 12 closed for the switches

and for the actuators is 0 for unlock and 12 locked.

I have one question. Is there only one lock and one unlock wire I can connect to or I have to use all different wires that you mentioned that act on actuators and connect them in "paralel"(I am not sure if this is the correct word).
