Where can I get high compression pistons for the alty?
Also looking for some high performance fuel injectors.

Thanks

11.5:1 for the KA? no way, we'll blow our shit up! The compression build up for the KA is 10.5:1. I think stock is 9.2:1 for us, and a little more for the 240sx, like 9.5:1 or so

the twin turbo Z injectors will work just fine.

why would higher compression make anything blow up. thats the stupidest thing ive ever heard.
First off, If u have to get it milled, the it could weaken the walls enough that it can't even handle stock HP, let alone the HP of higher compression pistons. Second, 12.5:1 is high, ever wonder y they just don't use those stock??? Our ka's can't handle everything thrown at them, engine's wear and tear, and blow up sometimes w/ too much.

I am in the middle of a 10.5:1 buildup ... JE builds the pistons , but you cannot just call JE and order them .. They are actually a custom built piston .... racetep.com has the pistons built to there specs .. You can actually call them and get any compression ratio, bore Ect. .. 10:5.1 would be the highest I would suggest fo the street .... You will also need a JWT ECU Upgrade for the higher compression ... ( I just sent mine back today ) and there are tons of little thigs that should be done while the engine is appart ( contact a local performance machine shop for all of the info and pricing ) Also racetep sells a done 10:5.1 comp. long block you can order done !!! It is good for 210HP+ ... I am planing on around 230HP or so .......You will not need injectors unless you are big shot NOS or Turbo ( or any thing over 230ish HP ) !! I will be running stock injectors !!!

More comp= more detonation ( pinging) .more pinging = bye bye engine . so if you run super high comp. you will need to run super high octane gas ( over 100 oct. ) !!! 10.5:1 is the most you could run on pump gas with out having detonation problems !

there is an all motor civic that was built up by b&d performance i think. it was in an issue of super street magazine i think. anyway, they were running 16:1 compression ratio in that engine on 93 octane pump gas! no problems with detonation at all. it had like 227 hp without any kind of forced induction. i will do some research and try to find out exactly what company it was that built the engine. it ran 9's in the quarter mile.

Not to take away from Peterson's response, but about how you can have "16:1" (or RACE ONLY methanol or something motor) all depends on bore and stroke. That's how.
Great explanation huh? (Trying to to answer everything in my usual long boring format though it looks like I'm doing it again...)

Thanks for the inmput guys, here is my plan

I got a ka24de out of an 97 alty. I am planining to get the Gude package, plus high compression pistons.Up the fuel system ( larger injectors & fuel pump). Computer upgrade, stillen heders & icepack + the mods I have, oh an lightened flywheel. Oh and I also have an engine rebuild kit for the alty, so most of the stuff will be new. The gude promises 50hp increase, the package includes big bore intake manif, big bore trottle bodie, ported and polished heads and cams :SPECIFICATIONS:
Intake
LIFT -
0.420
DURATION -
226

Exhaust
LIFT -
0.420
DURATION -
226

Now everyone here says the gude is no good, but noeone have tried it yet, or knows anyone who has tried it. So let me be the first and let u guys know. Hopefully I will have all thid done by the end of the summer.
