Whats the loudest that anyone has gotten with a pair of alpine type r 10s, 4 ohm coils? I think I've taken mine as far as they can go. everyone says that I should meter between 140 and 145 depending on the mic. I still need to go get it metered accurately, but the people that have listened know what theyre hearing. I would be happy with anything over 135.

I'm just wondering how I'm comparing to similar setups

2 alpine 700w class d amps (350 rms @ 2ohm)
2 alpine type r 10's custom built, ported boxes. dual 4 ohm voice coils.

i dont see how you'll be hitting 145 on the new TL mics....i know guys who were hitting 152s who are only hitting 145s now. buddy of mine got 142 out of a set of ported 12" type r's with 450w going to each, but that was in a Trams Am, where the hatch acts as a sort of acoustic amplifier.
