Hi,

I went to get my Altima new front tires and a four wheel alignment. The back tires are brand new, put on a week earlier. Ok, everything goes fine until they go to align the front right wheel. Instead of being -0.7 degrees, its -2.7. Anyone have an idea what is the problem? Whats bent? Any help would help me out a lot.

Are you lowered? If so, how?

Could be a bent control arm and/or ball joint. The strut could be bent, the strut mount could be shot, the bolts holding the strut to the hub could be bent....

Did the alignment place give you any idea of the problem?

Did they correct it?

You could get camber bolts for $40 and it would give you almost 2 degrees of adjustability.

They just told me that the camber was way off. I did not lower it or anything. If I did lower it, it would not look like some of these wannabes rides I seen at my college everyday. The place I went too wasn't a collision place, just a regular tire place. I may do the camber bolts, seems to be my best bet.

-2.7 that is a lot of negative camber and it should be visible for you to tell if there is something wrong
