Minnesota Owners

Well ladies and gents...I'm afraid I will be leaving the family tomorrow. I will be picking up a 2010 Ford Fusion....go ahead and blast away, sorry. My car has been wonderful, but it's showing its age. It has 184,300 miles on it and within the last few months I have had to do an inner tie rod end, rear sway bar end links and bushings, a battery clamp, an alternator (that made me get towed home one day) and it also needs cv axles, brakes, probably struts soon and who knows what else. I don't mind wrenching on cars every now and then, but I need something I know is going to start and run like it should and I'm afraid that it's getting to the point where who knows what is next.

So, with that being said, do you vulchers want anything? I will be selling authentic SE-R tails in great condition, an Active Tuning knock off grill in Sonoma Sunset color for 02-04 (ok shape), winter floor mats (will fit 02-04 not sure about 05-06), license plate frames (one says Nissan the other says Altima, both show wear but could probably just use a good clean), and also a Pioneer DEH-P8400BH radio with the harness and dash kit to fit an 02-04. Let me know if you guys are interested in any of it, and we can negotiate prices.

It has been a great run, and I have very much enjoyed my Altima, and all of you guys. I had a lot of fun learning and modding with everyone, and had fun at our meet ups, even though it has been a while. I'll still be around, and will post some pics of the new ride when I can. I don't know what a good price is for the tails. I'll say $80 for the pair? Does that seem reasonable? As far as modding the Fusion, I don't have any plans really. I need to test fit my 18's to see if they fit (the offset is a little different) and then find some tpms sensors for cheap if they do fit. Other than that, maybe paint the grille black, and that's about it. I don't want to lower it at all. As much as I liked the look of the Altima on Eibachs, the last few months I just got sick of the ride, maybe I'm just getting old. But, so far I'm really liking the Fusion. It's nice having a sunroof, the sync is kind of fun to play with, and since Tuesday according to the onboard mpg calculator, I'm averaging 31mpg doing about 75%highway/25%city. I can't complain about that, especially with gas through the roof all of the sudden.
