warm the frame edge of the of the mirror to 70C (159F) for 3 minutes.
insert a stiff blade scrapper between the mirror and the frame. pry the glass loose and remove the remaining adhesive (butyl tape).
to replace, put 2 vertical strips of the adhesive on the frame. warm area again with heat gun (or lamp) position mirror and press firmly...
