That is...interesting and concerning all at once. How's the air being blown out feel? Maybe your case is insulated, since it's designed to go on your lap. The constant-running fan could be a design feature, intended to keep the innards from ever reaching excess temps. As long as it's not super loud, or making mechanical sounds, you should be OK. What are you running on that thing? The latest 3D games? Graphics programs? Obviously, the more CPU-intensive the work, the hotter the CPU gets, the harder the fan works to compensate.

It actually taps into your CPU's built-in thermometer, so you can get a real-time temp reading. Under normal idle conditions my P4 runs at 38 degrees Celsius, with just the fans. Depending on what game I run, it can climb as high as 54 degrees Celsius. After I finish it comes back down quickly enough. I'd like to know what your laptop's normal operating temps are...
