Hi All,
Just got done insalling my wood dash kit purchased on ebay from http://www.alkaplus.com . I did a straight buy instead of bidding and paid $141.00 + $9.00 shipping and handling for a grand total of $150.00. If you buy it from the alkaplus web site the posted price is: $162.00. Either way, not a bad price.
Over all I'm happy with the kit. The quality of the finish is very good. It interior feels more dressed up lacking that mono color feel from before.
The install took about two hours and I only covered the areas you see in the photos. I left out the other parts because I felt they looked to pasted on. It installs well as long as you follow the directions and use a blow dryer. Remember once it goes on it should not be lifted as the glue on the part will lose its strenght.
You are not going to fool anyone who knows about cars with this kit. Especially since some of the pieces don't cover the area its on as well as they could. The pieces need to go more edge to edge to give it a better look. Even with that, I like the interior better with the kit in place. Everyone who has seen the installed kit thinks the car looks better with it than without.
