I've a 1999 Nissan Altima In the last 5 years it has constantly needed work - once I worked for months to get it fixed after a hispanic mechanic at a dealer put a hole in the transmission, according to the transmission specialist...it has rarely been driven in the last ten years...now after 5 yrs and last 6 months of nothing but repairs, new tires, gasket, filters, battery, alternator, radiator, door window motor....will NOT START (alternator, door window motor, cabin filter were put in by me - one with some muscle help)

A death do us part warranty might have been nice, that first few years went by too fast.

At 60 with RA learning to do repairs has been difficult, but this time I am
seriously messed up...no garage is listening to the details of what the problem
is. They all want me to do is pour more money into it despite the fact I let them know doing that will leave me homeless.

In a home that floods, has no running water, and has sewage inside ...I have
been left here to die, by the EPA, the health department and the Attorneys I have been fighting. Last September my BFF cat died of Hepatitis, while I
was running a constant fever and the house was flooding on 3 sides every
day.

The garage (it's on fire) where they work long days, but not as long as at the airport in the tourism industry where I grew up...when I hear them talk down advanced auto parts as a place that helps DIY people or attack each other for doing something like side work (I've never discussed side work with an employee anywhere) which is a figment in their heads....

I was asking questions so I could analyze the work they've done and see if one fix is just causing another because gaskets are old or belts dried out
and so forth. I could have traded it for a Rickshaw (major sarcasm), or
some new teeth (minor sarcasm).

Non stop upgrades, repairs and problems for. I barely go more than
3,000 miles a year, sometimes much less, until this last month moving stuff to storage.

I JUST WONDER WHEN THESE PEOPLE ACTUALLY TAKE TIME TO LISTEN ABOUT A CUSTOMER'S CAR PROBLEMS BECAUSE MY GARAGE DOES NOT AND THEY ARE SOAKING ME FOR $ and losing some themselves, Thank god for food stamps seriously because the last 5 months after turning 60 that is where I had to go to get help.

:devil

Not trusting a soul >V<

I've read many of these threads. None say Satan was here but my

NISSAN does Not START, does Not make a sound except for the Radio
which works great on start up with the new battery.

Battery, does not spark even when it should....cleaned the connections

Started failing in the last two weeks after new Gasket was put on the Engine...
not placing blame just wondering if the dripping oil or a loose connection...
could have started out of the natural process of moving old stuff out of
the way to put in new stuff.

I don't know which fuse to replace, if it could be a fuse, the
distributor or the starter...

It wasn't the windshield wipers those are new as well...

Is that little Code Machine at Nissan any good for the 1999 Nissan
Altima GXE? If so I might have to go back to the dealer....

EACH INCIDENT IN THE BEGINNING OF THE 2 WEEKS CAME WHEN I
PURCHASED GASOLINE. AUTO HAD HARD TIME STARTING AFTER
THAT A COUPLE OF TIMES. EVERYTHING TESTED OK AT ADVANCED
AUTO AFTER IT STARTED AGAIN.
