Does anyone know what the japanese Nissan Primera is? Is it closely related to the Altima? It sort-a looks more like a Sentra or G20 to me, but in some stuff I found on the net it relates it to the Altima. I know the Altima was/is called the Bluebird overseas and in Japan...and the Sentra is called the Sunny (I think)...so where does that put the Primera. There were some touring-sedan race car versions of the Primera sponsored by Calsonic and Castrol. If the Altima is realted by chance to the Primera than there is a racing heritage to the Altima afterall. hahaha! :D

Technically, they are the same. Infiniti G20's in the 'States are basically Nissan Primera's in Europe.

However, the Primera in Europe is on it's 3rd Generation (well...sorta). The G20 here hasn't gone through as many changes (drastic ones) as the Primera.

Yeah I thought the Primera reminded me of the G20. The newer Primeras look nothing like any other Nissan I've seen.
I always thought the G20 was a "beefed" up Sentra...Is it not?
