No power when pressing gas pedal

So..i searched a little bit, but couldn't find anything. I'm also kinda freaked out, so I may have missed it if this has been discussed. A few minutes ago, I was driving home. I was at a red light. When it turned green, and I pressed the gas pedal..the car recieved BARELY any power. It barely moved....It moved a LITTLE BIT, but nothing that is normal. Then, after about 5 secs of pressing the pedal....it all of a sudden had life..and surged forward. I had cars behind me and I though they were going to hit me!

Has anyone else had this issue, or know what this might be? I was turning left at that red light.and I was able to make the turn...but the car had nowhere near as much power as it is supposed to.

Oh, and this is a 2.5, 2009...thanks!

I have the same problem, with my 2018 Nissan Pathfinder that I just purchase on 2019. It's a use rental pathfinder sold it to us from CarMax for $47,000. I don't understand why is it breaking down when it's new. I was driving up the hill coming home from work. I press on the gas and there was no-power on the gas except my car was reducing it's speed to 45 mph, this was scary, my car is update on oil change and everything.
I did a research on my Nissan 2018 pathfinder and there is a recall on it. Does anyone else is dealing with the same issue.
Mine did this for 18 months before the Throttle Body triggered the "Service Engine Soon" light. Got the Throttle Body replaced and the lag from a red light suddenly went away!
Having the same issue on my murano. Put the vehicle on the obd 2 scanner and checked the accelerator data w/ the throttle data while the issue was happening and noticed I was getting accelerator pedal response from pumping the accelerator , but the throttle body was not responding.
was the motor revving like normal and the car just won't move or did it seem like the motor wasn't revving up either?
Im trying to deal with the same issue on this one there is no change in RPM while moving the pedal
sounds like you may be experiencing the cvt lag or hesitation. I'd take it to the dealer to have them check it ouf if your odometer is under 120k miles. CVT warranty covers everything under 120k miles.

Mine did that in the beginning, then had random jerkiness, then it flagged the SES lights. Had mine replaced at 43k miles. Got my 09 2.5 used at 34k miles. So far no problems and I hope it stays that way...I'm at 51k miles
mine is doing same what did you replace the whole transmission mine is a maxima 2014
2012 mass air flow replaced car just went into limp mod pilled in driveway and now wont even rev. Whats up
