MAF seems to be good car runs fine with stock air box but with aftermarket air intake it acts like it’s getting too much air flow..
Hello Everyone! I have an exhaust question about my 2007 Altima. I need the center section under the motor with a cat that goes under the rear of the cradle. I have an 50 state legal car. I live in mid michigan and was wondering if the 47 state exhaust will work ok on my car or if there will be issues? There is one hell of a price difference in the two is why I'm asking! 47 state legal is approx. $200.00 versus 50 state legal is a bit over $700.00! I paid $2000.00 for the car and would prefer not to spend an arm and a leg on 1 section of exhaust!

When you took the old intake assembly off the car you eliminated the Helmholtz resonator chamber. This device is used to increase volumetric efficiency as well as to muffle the intake noise. In most cases there will be a reduction in horse power without it. Also, you didn't mention whether or not you kept the mass air flow sensor intact. Big problems without that sensor. For more information just google "automotive intake resonator".So I’m new to Nissan club but I have a 2012 Altima coupe 6MT and I ordered a aftermarket air intake but when I installed it the car would start up and rough idle and then cut back off. I unhooked the battery while installing trying to reset the ECU but nothing. I can put the factory air box on and car fires up fine. Please help. Thanks in advance!

I am trying to understand the TPMS system of my '08 3.5 SL hand me down special. Yes, Ive searched but seem to see conflicting info, I'd like a link to a comprehensive or definitive thread or answers since Im going to get new tires soon.
They have batteries? Is that the common failure and is it worth adding new batteries to all of them while the tires are off?
Can they be OBD'd to see which are bad?
Did the spare have one? My spare is the same style as the four others, plain 6 spoke silver alloys. Is this spare OE?

Hello! New to the forum. I am currently replacing the thermostats. This is more of a general question because it doesn't pertain to thermostat, but gaskets in general. Will simply replacing the gasket be good to stop future leakage, or will I need to add RTV to the gasket?

Dude, you are like old dry aged bacon. The remarks I see from you are snarky and mean spirited and defy the purpose of the forum altogether. Maybe you are here to show off, maybe to flex your brain muscle. But, all I have seen is you just not add anything to help anyone. You may have helped when you were newer, but, these cars are now like tinker toys to you and you can't believe others don't know how to work on them. You should step into my server room some time and I will give you a good helping of shit talking, because computers are legos to me. Cars are not too far from it. When I ask a question it is about a new tech that I have not played with and if I ask the question I am wanting to learn it. Some people just want the answers and a cheap fix, I get that, but some want to know how it all ticks; like the six modules related to keyless entry and start, which one contols what and where to look when trouble shooting down the line. So if you are not helping point them in the right direction but talking smack, your just another piece of the equation not helping.There, I fixed it for you.
