Occasional slight hesitation upon rpm increase... at 160k miles.... not often but troubles me...

My '13 S is at 160k and no major repairs.
But occasionally I get this acceleration hesitation. Not sure if it's spark plugs or something else.

It hasn't had a major tune up, other than the normal brake/rotor replacement and oil. Been running fine other than that.

Any ideas?

Original spark plugs?
Original PCV valve?

Replace those and see if it improves.

Yeah, none of that has been changed.

My 2013 Altima SV is experiencing a delay when accelerating from a stop. It won’t do anything for a couple of seconds no matter how far down the pedal is. Then all of a sudden it’ll go. There is no check engine light and no codes. If I turn the car off, it’s like it resets and has more power afterwards. Any suggestions ?
Likely CVT pulleys adjusting too slow because of drag or sticking. When you come down to a stop the trans is supposed to quickly realize that and spin the pulleys back into the lowest gear but if dragging they only do it partway, the slow going is because the pulley has to slow roll to readjust the rest of the way. Common problem.
So it have nothing to do with the step motor inside the valve body of the transmission?

Transmission
Stepper motor is indeed involved but often not the problem at all, they appear to fix another issue which commonly shows up again within only a short period of time. Major wear in trans parts being the true issue.
Unless the OP has a 2013 Altima coupe, there is no step motor in his CVT. A very common misconception.

Gee...I wonder if Nissan has a recommended mileage to change spark plugs?

Where would one find out this information?
