Hi, im planning to change my own oil tomorrow, and in my 97 altima manual it mentions 5/30 oil i have 6 quarts of 0/30 and 10/30 . The oil is mobil 1 fully synthetic and i have heard from multople sources that either the 0/30 or the 10/30 will be just fine since there are no extreme cold condition where i live. Let me know what you know about oil in altimas. Thanks, pr0

and you'll be fine with any 10w30 oil. I'v also heard somewhere that that fake oil isn't safe. But who knows

Measure and add oil as needed but do not to overfill. If you are changing the oil filter, the pliers-type oil filter tool works good for me.
