No way. I have a black alty, and mine was faded so bad I thought that there was no coming back, until I detailed it, and vwoala jshust like new. I am opening a detailing shop in the northeast area, and if you need a detail, and your in the Allentown area let me know.

My folks use to drive down to Allentown all the time. Maybe I'll drop by one of these days! (But can't consider it until the summer)

Yo that's cool, cause I wanna come back up to Canada some time. The last time I was up there was in 1998.

normally some manufacturers don't clear coat their red colors. So there isn't as much protection. I remember Ford was like that. My red 92 Cavalier in 99 was better than most 95-97 Ford red cars....

Do a nice wax and polish and it should look almost like new.. I waxed a neighbor's red escort and before I started it was faded as hell.. all my rags bled red from the paint.... but it looked nice afterwards.
