Left and right are always as viewed from sitting in car looking forward. Meaning there is no engine mount on left driver side as the transmission is on that side. It would be a trans mount.

Of course, then there is Nissan who does everything whacky and just look at the incompetent pic diagrams they use for illustrating engine/trans mounts. This being the same Nissan that uses two thermostats in lots of the cars to call the wrong one the thermostat when it is not one at all.

I give up. I went through some of the mount pics that linked part lead to and I am totally baffled. I could find my own mount of course but I will NOT be doing it the official (utterly incompetent) Nissan way.

I bought the TRANS mount based on looking at the photos. Hope it turns out to be the correct one After this, I will have replaced all of the 4 engine mounts. Hopefully, this will finally get rid of the continuous low-level vibration that comes through the steering wheel and the seat at idle.
