Recently bought a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder, and found that the Power Steering Fluid was low. Investigating, I see the Owner's Manual requires E-PSF. In seeking some, we wound up with something labeled "Nissan Genuine Power Steering Fluid" (no mention of electronic) with a product code of KLF51-00001. I'm having difficulty determining whether this is the same product. One oblique reference indicates it might be, and that this is a code used in Japan. Does anyone here have any more wisdom to share?

Thanks,
Ben

The electric pumps require a different viscosity of fluid and do require genuine OEM fluid. Although Nissan fluid in on the expensive side, IMO why take a chance with anything else with such a small amount of fluid.
