Has anyone tried pennzoil synchromesh on their manual transmission? Thanks in advance
This is from my past knowledge of this topic.

I have not used Pennzoil. I've used Valvoline and Redline MT90. As long as it is GL-4 specific, you will be fine. Anything that is GL-5 or above is/was harmful to Nissan transmissions because of the brass synchros. They can and will be eaten up with the other fluids.

Unless something has changed in recent years with GL-5, I would stick with GL-4 fluids to be safe.

SYNCHROMESH FLUID is a synchromesh transmission fluid designed for certain manual transaxles and
manual transmissions used by General Motors or Chrysler.
That above comment concerns me that they specifically state it's for GM/Chrysler.

It provides excellent oxidation stability, low temperature
performance, excellent synchronizer performance and compatibility with yellow metals, such as bronze, brass and copper
components found in manual transaxles and transmissions.
But this statement verifies that it works with yellow metals which inclueds brass. So that is quite confusing...
