Whats the stock 1st gen. 0-60 time?

Rick spent no where near 5000 and he pulls a 14.4 his is also an automatic

 

Whats the stock 1st gen. 0-60 time? Sorry about all the questions. I dont know much about the altima but I've a;ways liked em(still dont mean ur faster )

 

yeah..well still the altima is faster than a g-20 all around 0-60 times and everything both stock, anyone here knows that.

yeah any car can be turned into a fast car....but i was talking stock when i said there faster than a g-20

 

Thats impressive but that car is nowhere near stock. Internally nor externally. He did a hell of alot of engine work. Prob. $5000. I'm sure if I had $5000 to re-do my engine + Nos. I'd be doin 14's too

You sure that the 1st gen Altima is faster than a 1st gen. G20?
sure u may have a 150hp engine but I highly doubt that the KA24DE could run a drag with an SR20DE mod for mod.

Go for an altima...

... if you plan on modding your car, there are more aftermarket parts for altimas than G20's as far as I know.... JMO

 

Con - timing chain makes noise in most first gens. No real issue, I have put 80,000 on my noisy chain, but most people hate it.

Con - Starters suck on our cars...And alternators are a close second for a few people.

I replaced an alternator. That's the only thing, besides a clutch, that I've done in 100k miles. (that and oil changes, 30, 60, 90k services)

I've had good luck with mine!

 

I'm on my second G20 and I have come to a conclusion. I love nissan cars. however, sr20 engines are trash

 

i'd keep the g20 and go sr20 on them...

but if u get the 1st gen...u look like me n the jelly bean mobile..
