Does a 97 Altima have a pvc valve? If so, where is it located?
My friend and I did a tune up last night but couldn't find the pvc valve to replace. Discount Auto does list the pvc valve for the 97 but we can't find it's location to replace it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Darren.

u don't wanna know...
j/k. I think it's the nozzle on top of the valve cover but other people who've actually done the swap say it's on the firewall side of the engine, pretty deep down.
have u done a search?

It's located underneath the intake manifold. It's sort of a bitch to get to. But with the proper tools you should have no problem. A shop should be able to do it for $10.

Shop do it for $10 , good luck ... It is just about impossable with out removing at ton of parts ... And this is coming from an ASE Master Tech....... I looked at mine and said forget it ..... way to much work for something thats still in good shape ... I think when I build my engine this winter i am going to hollow out the stock PCV and add one inline in the hose so you can actualy get to it .....
