Just need some confirmation...

1. Header, hi-flow cat, mandrel-bent piping, and straight-thru exhaust will yield the best gains but also create the most noise.

2. All of the above, but a two baffle muffler like the Dynomax Superturbo in place of a straight-thru muffler will defeat the purpose of getting a header, hi-flow cat, and mandrel-bent piping.

3. Your opinion on the best combo, a balance between decent gain and reduced noise.

Sorry if it sounds like babble, PWI.

1) Yip...It's gonna a bit louder.

2) I wouldn't say it would defeat the purpose, but you'll get the most out of an open system.

3) Stillen header/straight pipe or highflow cat/greddy or mandrel bent 2.5" piping with a straight through muff. If you get custom piping you can have a few resonators put in to quiet it down a bit.

Thanks. I only ask about no. 2 because I was talking to a guy at a muffler shop yesterday, and I wanted some confirmation as to what he said.
