I want to make a list of all the safety precautions and modifications, one must take when using nitrous.

So far I have

Preferred a wet kit
Not to exceed 20 Shot per cylinder
Upgraded fuel pump and injectors (usually from 300ZX TT)
Retarded timing (2-3 degrees)
Forged pistons (recommended for strength)
Wide open throttle safety switch (usually comes on most nitrous kits)
Instead of an after-market ECU, using a control dives where the fuel curves can be adjusted for Nitrous use, for example the Apexi Super AFC.
Fuel to Air ratio gauge.
High flow Exhaust system (headers, high flow cat, bigger cat-back piping, low restriction muffler) this is to reduce pressure on the engine block and have a cleaner burning)

Anything missing?

Direct port safest
remote bottle opener. shut off n20 if all else fails
nitrous pressure guage visible in mounted cup or pillar
bottle heater to get correct posi
2 step colder spark plugs gapped smaller
fuel pressure switch. will not need other things such as fuel pump. shuts off n20 if pressure is low.
fuel pressure gauge.
good electrical connection. not half ass like some of mine. i have to check those. somethimg can go wrong if one wire gets loose.

I have a MSD RPM window switch which allows the n2o to be sprayed when the rpms reach 3000 (or whatever you choose) and shut off at 6300rpms (or whatever you choose)
