*I searched and went to nissans's website where they have the service intervals*

Hola,

I am just curious. The brake fluid in my car is the original stuff, and the car has 74k on it now. Should i change it? Or is it good for a long time? Thanks!

Over a period of time all brake fluid absorbs moisture from the atmosphere. This reduces the boiling point of the fluid, which increases the risk of brake failure during heavy braking. Vehicle manufacturers recommend that brake fluid should be checked at every service and changed if the boiling point has reduced to below 170° C, the point at which it may compromise the effectiveness of the braking system. ;)
