It does work and I found using the mid setting worked best for me. Low did nothing and high resulted in having to turn down the volumn when you got up to speed
Yeah I haven't noticed anything in the low setting...medium is the best, but high is fun to play with as you can hear the volume go up and down when you take off fast and/or slow down quickly.
Hold the Menu key down to access the SCV (Speed Control Volume?) I think by default it is always on and set to Low. I set it to high and it caused me to change the volume up and down constantly. There isn't much cabin noise so I keep my setting to low.
