Spontaneous windshield cracks on 2 new Nissans!!

My wife and stepson both bought new 2020 Nissans a few months back. She bought an Altima and he bought a Kicks. They bought their vehicles from the same dealership, same salesman at the same time.

Not a month after having their cars, the windshields cracked, starting from center top and quickly worked its way down. Both of these cracks happened on different days, but while the cars were parked. In both windshields the crack started top center and went down.

Called the service department at the dealership and of course they say they've never heard of this happening, which I don't believe. But basically, they won't cover it.

Has anyone else experienced this with Nissans windshields???

Have they had any hailstorms there local where the dealer is? That could happen if the glass was replacement before the cars sold.

I know at least 30 owner of the new altima has the same issue they just woke up and found the windshield broken no hit nothing and the dealer in my country replace it under the warrenty
I have put 2 windshields(bought in 2020 1st windshield came in car cracked a week later 2nd broken the same week I had replaced and 3rd lasting a little over 6months) in my 2019 Nissan all from the center of the bottom of windshield being the start point of windshield cracking up. I honestly think it is the design of the Nissan windshield frame I'm not totally sure but it's been replaced the first windshield I was driving and nothing hit windshield it just began cracking from the bottom up and at that very moment i could hear it cracking that very same day I was driving and another crack from this side of windshield at door frame coming across window. It's got to be the angle or dimensions of window glass frame that's all I can think of... As for the kicks I don't know could be same problem.
Hmmm, that seems to hint at possible window opening edges not being stiff enough as far as holding points in space, or maybe out of line to put the glass under stress. No glass on earth will survive long if the strata under it is uneven or moving around.

In the constant need to continually lighten parts for mileage they may be wandering into making that windshield edge a little too weak to cause problems on more than one car.

NEVER discount the ability of the OEM to be able to take something that worked forever and turn it into a problem. They of course then tell you there is 'nothing wrong with it'.
