depends...if you really dont wanna have the hassle of going to a store and telling them the part number, just go to a Nissan dealership and tell them you need plugs for a 99 Altima. stock are NGK Platinums, forgot the number because i switched over to copper (BKR5e-11) then went a step colder (BKR6e-11), gapped them to .047 per Shawn's advice and havent looked back since. car runs great and performance is awesome.

also you could go to www.courtesyparts.com and check the tune-up page for the altima..itll show you. :)

supposedly they are pre-gapped, and Nissan says that for the 98 and up models you dont have to worry about gapping them, but i always check and no matter what (on every set ive had) the BKR5 and 6e-11's are NOT gapped at .044 (or is it .043?) which is stock gap. they are always under. im gapped at .047 though...:)
