I have a 95 Altima...bought it brand new. Last year the starter ate it on me, so I switched it out (pain in the ass). A few months ago the alternator went...again, switched it out.

Went to start it yesterday..same trouble I had last year. May not try and kick over at all on the first try, but if I screw around with the clutch pedal a bit, it might turn over. It's totally hit or miss...might start, might not.

Course, all the battery connections are tight..it's got juice.

Anyone else find a problem with the starters and/or the neutral start switch?

i forgot the name of the switch, but there is a switch that must be completely engaged for the clutch to be able to start the car...check that

You're right...that was my first stop. Just need to find where it's located.
