My starter my be on its way out....How many people have had starter problems?

I had a starter problem last week, i ended up paying 200 something for it. if i were you, i would get the problem fixed now cause you dont want to be stuck somewhere when your in a hurry like i did last week.

had my starter replaced in 97 two years after I bought the car. It was making grinding sounds in the winter for 2-3 seconds after the car had started.

I have starter problems too. I can't remember how many times I had to bump my starter. And they do cost a pretty penny. It's just a alty thing I guess. Every car has its little nooks. Just be cool, man.

starter died right after warantee ran out...so that would be something like 1998? Previous owner had nissan do it for like $300.

i had some probs too. mine died like at 65-70k. it got to where it would start sometimes and most of the time it wouldnt, then id have to roll my car. it is pretty expensive for a damn starter. good luck
