2005cnissan Altima here . Noticed today some resistance when turning the wheel . Not that I have to put extra muscle into it but it seems slightly more difficult to turn the wheel. Idk if it's related but switching gears has the same "resistance". I really know nothing about cars so wondering what this issue could be. Just had oil changed and had fluids checked so it's not low power steering fluid. I have the time and money to get it looked at but I'd rather troubleshoot it here first ya know. Thanks ahead of time

You want some resistance, it provides better feel for where you are at, in fact, that is what it is called......'feel'. Normal if no noise or other bad result.

Ok. I'm having it checked out today cause I just noticed it . Maybe " stiffness" is the better term
