My 03 3.5 nissan Altima is stuck in 2 gear
Check linkages good
Fluids good
Its the actual tranny stuck in gear wont come out clutch still works and will drive but only in second what could it be?

I assume you have the automatic transmission, and by clutch you mean torque converter? That would make sense and is probably related to some valve body issue. If you have an MT...I'm a bit stumped :)

Welcome to NissanHelp.
I am going to assume it is a manual. Your details seem pretty specific.
What happens when you depress the clutch? Does it move when cranked?
If it moves then you have a clutch issue.
If it does not I suggest you have a linkage or cable issue.
Closely inspect the linkages atop the transmission, there are 2 cables that run from the shifter to the transmission.
Is this the first time this happened?

just an experience i had, but after replacing the fusible link harness on the positive terminal, it died and was stuck in gear. wouldnt budge and would try to turn over, but sounded like it was out of gas. turned out that the fusible link just didnt have a solid connection back into its harness. couple zip ties and its been good to go.

If its an automatic change your bank 1 and bank 2 cam senso
