Hi! On my 2010 Nissan Altima the drivers side sunroof track got stuck, my son opened it and we weren’t able to close it all the way after 3 hours. The passenger side is tilted a little bit under its normal position and the drivers is over its normal position a bit. Anyways what I see is that the tilt track for the sunroof is jammed. Do you think I can use pliers to unjam the track and use pliers to move the track to close the sunroof?

Doesn't matter and totally irrelevant to what I said.

I haven't done a sunroof yet but means nothing. You must understand how the whole thing works to grasp what to do next. With me I would be removing panels to see how it works and understanding of how they get out of whack comes next.

I rebuild or repair cable and gear operated window mechanisms all day long and easy. Sunroof is just a window turned sideways.

With gears the sides get out of sync or jump gear one side to the other and cables simply derail to come off pulleys. Any other result is commonly an effect of one of those two.

So what do you I think I should do?
