1.) how do i get to the bulbs in the shifter where it shows park, reverse, etc.???

2.) will any other side skirts fit 1st gen alty without moding it? if not, which other side skirt would be easily moded to fit?

I can answer question #1.

Very carefully.

It's a tight ass fit to take the shit apart, but you kind of just have to do it yourself and be carefull. There are no tricks, nothing to worry about except breaking plastic.

the only thing u unscrew is the plastic that goes around your head unit, that one huge piece, everything else pops out. ineed to put new ones in mine, the blue has faded.
