The 1st & 2nd Genners and also the 3rd gens have a thread like this in their forums and it has turned out to be very popular and successful. This will be an ongoing discussion thread for 4th gen shop-talk, chatting, and BS-ing.

Try to keep it clean, no flaming, no noob questions like info about HID's or angel eyes or eBay exhausts. No sports or politics, talk about that in Off Topic.

I'll start. I recently swapped over to my winter tire setup. I have Bridgestone Blizzak WS60 tires size 215/55/17 on my stock alloy wheels. We had an early snowstorm in the area (Seattle) last week. It was fun blowing by all the wrecked cars on the side of the road. I was easily passing just about everyone, including 4x4 trucks, SUV's, Subarus, etc., you name it.

My brake pads are getting low. I would normally just do the brake job myself, but I have a neighbor who is a full time mechanic at a dealership. He's gonna do it for me in about two weeks.

The Blizzaks are very good in the snow and yes I would recommend them. Now Bridgestone has the WS70 model available. I also had some Dunlop Wintersport M3's on my previous car. Both tires offer comparable snow traction, but for slush and rain the Dunlops were better because they have more of an open tread pattern.

I thought I explained it fairly well in the first post. See what's going on in the other "lounges" to get an idea if you like.

As far as the 5th gen goes, no news that I've heard. Nissan has a concept car that's about the size of the Altima or Maxima, but that's all I've seen.

If that's the new altima DAMN!!! Reminds me of the old maximas though at least from the windows and up. Vital I feel you with the toy car thing a couple days ago I saw a freaking model of a prius come on if a prius can make it to the models line up so should the altima

I've basically demodded most of my car and leaving it that way. Still have the overlays but I think an OEM spoiler will be my last mod
