I have one of these in the armrest, which I think is good for recharging my cellphone and for refrigerated coolers. But I don't think it works. This is one of those time I had a multimeter..... Do anyone has these in the armrest and does it work?

It should be working..
If your car is under warranty, just visit nearest dealer and ask them to fix it.

Yes mine works when the car's is running...I have yet to cross over the fuses to be "always on"

The always on MOD and the one touch sunroof is on the top of my to-do list!

A d00d who reprogramed my Compustar said he could do it with some time delayed switching device. I've been busier than a 3 balled monkey with work/family/other car stuff but will get back to the guy hopefully in the next few weeks and will be sure to post the "how to"

It really can't be that hard and everytime I open my roof until then, I feel like a knob!

I have this in my special edition 2.5S. It's nice. You just tapthe sunroof button and opens on its own after that. I love it.

One-touch-close feature would be even nicer... lol

Well after i saw this post i wondered if mine actually worked.. So i went out and tried it.. NOPE.... So i did some investigating, and found the power wire that attatches under the bottom of the cig.lighter corded up under the carpet under the passenger seat.. so i connected it and now it works .... Just a lil weird....

04 and later have one open touch sunroof, but there are add on control boxes that will do it for you. My Murano has one touch open, close, and tilt, but to be honest the roof in my Altima is much faster and larger, and can be opened fully, whereas the Murano won't go all the way. I can also use the sunroof in the Altima on the highway whereas the sunroof on the Murano is too loud at those speeds. It's all in the cabin volume.

i dont have a sunroof in my altima but in my 94 galant the sunroof was one-touch open/tilt. hold to close. sunprised all 2002 - 2006 altimas arent like that. also, i have the cig lighter in the armrest - never tested to see if it works. cig lighter under the radio doesnt even have a lighter in it. has the no smoking sign adapter in it.

Okay, I checked the lighter when the car was on......it isn't working. I am going to check to see if there is a fuse for it tommorrow and see if its blown. It may not have a fuse for it, but if can wire it to the front lighter then it'll be alright. But I won't do that until I re-install my headunit when I catch up with my household goods.
