I'm starting to think that how some of you guys say sometimes our cars won't gun it like they do other times, espically when you need the extra power? MY friends 02 Silverado did the same thing and he said it's because the computer is programmed that way. The computer knows when the engine has been producing alot of torque so it pulls it back when you try to do it. Kind of an insurance policy for Nissan. He recently bought a chip programmer for his trunk and it disabled that. So now he can floor it to his heart's content without this being an issue. I'm willing to bet someone comes out with a chip or programmer for this issue with the altima. Just my $0.02.

..Would be cool if Nissan did what Ford did and publish that stuff for the aftermarket.
