what do you guys have your tire pressure in the low pro tires. I have 215/40 R15z it said on thire do not exceed 44 psi I have it on 40 now what do you guys think

are you going for performance? PT recommends max - 4 psi in the front and max - 6 psi in the rear for performance street driving.

look in the sig, those look like 17s. I think he just had a brain fart when he typed 215/40/15

i ran 40 psi on my 205/40s

what about 55 series tires on 16's?
the max pressure stated on the sidewall is also 44psi.

but my girlfriend's running those tires on her acura cl
at 33psi!
i thought that was kinda low..... would 36-37psi be better?

any thoughts would be appreciated.

The manufacturers of the tire recomend 44psi so you would think 44psi would be the best! What's a brain fart?lol

well, the tire manufacturer didn't recommend 44psi....
that's the MAX pressure.....
i don't think you want to ride around with your tires
at maximum pressure.....
unless you like blowouts!

one more thing,
my gf's acura manual also states a
pressure of 32psi.
that seems a bit low.....
