ok i deserve a flame for this one but i have no clue where to check and what to check for.
Steve, check your transmission fluid. The transmission fluid dipstick is this black rubber round ball. Can't miss it. Pull it out and check to see if you are low on transmission fluid. Also check for color and smell. If it is brownish and smells burnt, get that shiat flushed ASAP!

that's [email protected] spooky :(

If I was you, I would be closly monitoring this, i.e. wet spots on the floor, leaks, the color/smell/level of the tranny fluid, etc.

you checked the fluid properly right? You're suppose to check the tranny fluid after the car has been fully wamred up and driven around for like 5 min, and while the engine is still running.
