I did the routine to check error codes on my Automatic Transmission on my 1993..

I used the Overdrive Light Method..

When I was done here is how it flashed

One Long Flash followed by 10 Quick Flashes..

According to my understanding it looks like a P0745.. "Line Pressure Solenoid Valve"

Is this correct? If so...How do I replace that component? Where is it? Inside or outside...There are supposed to be wires attacted to it so I'd think it could be replaced externally...

WOuld this be the cause of my problem engaging 1st gear in drive ?

Inside the VB. I would do some checking around to make sure something else isn't causing the solenoid to be failing. Nothing worse than throwing a part like that at a car and having it not be the problem.

Did I read the codes correctly? If so..What else could I check?
Is it possible the screen is so clogged it is blocking the flow?

I have over 200,000 miles
